What Should I wear to my appointment?
We encourage all of our guests/clients to come in comfortable and little to no jewelry if possible. The less complicated it is to undress, the less complicated it is to re-dress yourself, especially after a massage :)
When Should I arrive to my appointment?
We recommend you arrive 10-15 minutes early if this is your first appointment. The first visit with us requires some paperwork prior to any body work being done. If it is your 2nd/3rd+ visit w/ us, we do encourage you to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your session. This will also give you time to visit the restroom before you lie down and then have to toga out of the room when nature calls. (It's definitely happened)
Can I talk during the session?
You are more then welcome to chat with your therapist if that is what you would like. We also encourage you to have confidence speaking with your therapist, especially if their pressure is not to your liking or you are experiencing pain or discomfort. We would love to know! We also don't mind you just relaxing or dosing off on us. We don't take it personal.
Can I request different music? Or does it have to be spa/zen music?
Absolutely not. WE LOVE IT! We believe it's nice to have a variety of options, especially in music. Trust me when I say, your therapist will definitely not mind.
What should i do after my treatment?
Depending on what service or treatment you've scheduled, your therapist should give you some home care tips and of course have some water ready for you. We recommend to all of our clients to drink plenty of water after their service/treatment. Given the nature of our treatments, they will require some help in flushing out metabolic waste and all of the yuckies we just broke up in your body & muscles. We also recommend you take it easy the rest of the day since that's the whole point right? Relaxation.
When do I come back? How long should I wait?
After your first treatment and getting to know each other a bit more , your therapist will go over with you all of their findings and concerns to help keep you in great muscle health. We have plans and some options for you to continue to make massage, relaxation, and pain relief a regular in your wellness plan. Again, all of our treatments are custom to each person so each individual will vary but we do recommend you try to come in monthly to help keep the body maintained and in tip top shape. More in depth or extreme cases will vary.
You are more then welcome to download & print the initial Client Intake form prior to your first appointment. If not, we appreciate all first time clients to arrive at least 10 - 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time to fill out the necessary paperwork.
